Will there be support for CalDAV and/or CardDAV?

Are there plans to enable Daisho to connect to CalDAV/CardDAV servers? I'm looking to replace Thunderbird/Lightning which (with plugins) can synchronize with both CalDAV and CardDAV servers. This would be essential for me to be able to hook up to company shared calendars and my own personal calendar and contact list.

    Yes.
Actually, you are hitting our development roadmap right on target. :-)
We did a lot of customer investigation and questionaires, and -besides IMAP- especially CalDav and cardDav was on the top requested features.

Initially, we thought that this would be the top feature request, but it turned out that IMAP is more important to a large user group.

Currently we are ironing out the last issues with our new sync service which we launch soon (to sync any mobile device with daisho), then we focus on the other topics.
    Best regards,
    Klaus

Thanks for the answer! I agree that IMAP is more important. I haven't even enabled POP3 on my server, as I've completely switched over to IMAP now.

But multiple remote calendars (with a "merged" view) would be excellent. Being able to access shared remote contacts would also be good.
